Dash Agency Named Finalist at UK StartUp Awards

Samuel Deakin & Dash Agency Named UK StartUp Awards Finalists

Dash Agency was recognised as a finalist in the Rising Star category at the Midlands final of the UK StartUp Awards, a regional programme celebrating new businesses that have turned ideas into opportunities and taken real risks to launch something meaningful.

The nomination came from the StartUp Awards, a national initiative supported by organisations including ScoreApp, GS1 UK, Starling Bank, OVHcloud, GiftRound and Airwallex. It’s designed to spotlight early-stage companies that are making an impact, creating opportunities and contributing something genuinely useful to their sector.

For us, being named a finalist for Rising Star StartUp of the Year was an important moment, not just because of the recognition, but because it reflects the energy we’ve put into building Dash Agency since day one. It was only a short time earlier that I started the agency with the goal of doing marketing differently — not by chasing trends or awards, but by helping businesses make clear, effective decisions and then delivering work that actually achieves things.

On being shortlisted, I said at the time:

“To be shortlisted for the ‘Rising Star’ category at the UK StartUp Awards is an extraordinary honour that reflects the energy and innovation we’ve put into Dash Agency. This recognition is not just for our marketing campaigns, or the growth we’ve achieved for our clients. Each day at Dash is a step towards redefining what’s possible in marketing…”

That idea of redefining what’s possible by doing solid work with a clear head and a practical focus is still at the core of what we do. The nomination reminded us that the work matters, and that others see the value in what we’re building.
